Hoodoo Trail Loop The Hoodoo Trail leads 25 km (15 mi) southeast of Drumheller on Hwy 10 past Badlands terrain to the communities that blossomed during Alberta’s prosperous coal mining days. Along the way you’ll pass the natural rock formations called hoodoos: the hard rock caps on top of the their pillars act as umbrellas, sheltering the softer sandstone beneath.
